Importing Bookmarks into Firefox

The PC Magazine Top 100 Sites story ( http://go.pcmag.com/top100websites ) lets you download all the links. But how do I install them in Firefox?

The 2005 Top 100 Favorites download ( http://go.pcmag.com/favorites ) includes two elements. One is a program that will install all of the sites as Internet Explorer Favorites (with the option to uninstall using Add/Remove Programs). The other is a simple HTML file that can be imported into Firefox, Netscape, or Opera. If you choose File | Import from Firefox's main menu, however, you don't get an option to import bookmarks from a file—all you can do is import the entire configuration from whatever other browser Firefox finds.

To import this or any other bookmark file into Firefox, first select Bookmarks | Manage Bookmarks. In the resulting Bookmarks Manager screen, select File | Import. This time you'll get an option to import From File—select it, click Next, and follow the prompts.
